Who are we? Terri works for a local Insurance Agency, and Mark is self employed and does property inspections for Midwest Field Services We were born and raised in Scott City and have lived here for all our lives. We have 4 grown children and 5 grand children and a host of friend all over town. We have been happily married for 34+ years. We have been in the rental business since 1988. We are proud of the business reputation that we have earned in our community. I think that we are always highly recommended, and the people in Scott City Kansas will tell you that we are very hard working people. We strive to keep our properties neat and clean, and well maintained. As we acquire a house we remodel each property and continue to maintain each the home as needed. We do not let our homes fall into disrepair. We do not allow matters that need attention to deteriorate into a crisis. We deal with problems NOW! We ask our tenant customers to provide us with references before we will consider renting a house to them. On occasion we have been asked to provide references for a potential rental customer, they wish to check us out as well. We are always happy to provide these references upon request. Some landlords have a less than sterling reputations; we understand this and are more than willing to put our houses and reputation to the test. Please feel free to view our home at 1110 College, and our shop at 507 Jefferson , and any of our houses and this should give you an idea of how we keep and take care of things. We strive to keep: Good roofs, Good paint inside and out, Modern plumbing, Modern electric, Modern Air Conditioning, Garbage disposals, Nice new carpeting (we do not mix and match carpet all is new (not used) and it all matches), Yards are not left go they are *** mowed and trimmed weekly, (including weeds in street gutter, cracks in walks, and alleys, trees and bushes are trimmed), No clutter or trash in yards or alleys, • ***We have a work team that takes care of yards each week on houses that contract to do so. • We have a cleaning lady on staff to clean houses and professional carpet service to shampoo carpets between tenants as needed. • We have a work schedule planned out each summer to improve and/or work on our maintenance program. I hope that this will give you some insight into the type of people that we are, and how we conduct our business. We are very proud of the inventory of houses we have, and we work very hard to keep them nice for you. We are always happy to show them to you at any time. Our mission is to provide neat clean houses for nice people. I think that our tenant customers will tell you that we friendly business people first and landlords second. Scott City is a clean little town, with good schools, good people, and very little crime. We are always excited to welcome new people to town.
